He also outlined JPC's future development strategies focusing on not only quantity but also quality.

The Annual Luncheon that followed the AGM was graced by the presence of the Secretary for Security, Mr Lai Tung-kwok, and Commissioner Tsang Wai-hung.

Mr Lai said he was glad to attend the luncheon in the capacity of JPC Chief Honorary President. He pointed out that JPC membership topped 210,000 since it was established 40 years ago. Noting that JPC is one of the largest youth groups in Hong Kong, he attributed this success to the efforts and hard work of Force members and JPC members, as well as the big support of JPC Honorary Presidents and volunteers.

Mr Lai also presented certificates of appreciation to JPC Honorary Presidents who have served JPC for 25 years and JPC volunteers who have individually chalked up over 200 hours of voluntary service for JPC training and activities.

At the same time, Mr Tsang presented certificates of appreciation to the Honorary Presidents who have served JPC for 20 years as well as school clubs and teachers for their outstanding contributions to the JPC scheme. He also presented certificates of appointment to members of the JPC CAB for 2014-15.
