A four-member delegation from the Danish National Police, led by their National Commissioner, Mr Jens Henrik Højberg, visited the Force on May 15 and paid a courtesy call on Commissioner Tsang Wai-hung.

The courtesy call provided the opportunity for the two commissioners to discuss the need for closer co-operation in fighting transnational crime, in particular cybercrime. They also exchanged views on the policing topics concerning both forces.

In the afternoon, the delegation visited Commercial Crime Bureau's Technology Crime Division and discussed the situation of cybercrime and cyber security in Hong Kong. This topic was of particular importance to the delegation as Denmark is setting up a cybercrime security unit and is interested in the best practices adopted worldwide.

This is Mr Højberg's first visit to the Force, paving the way to strengthen the  working relationship between the two forces.
