The NTS Regional Monitoring Group on InfoSec has recently launched the NTS InfoSec Ambassador Programme and recruited 139 ambassadors at different ranks for promoting InfoSec in NTS Region. NTS formed the Monitoring Group in December last year in a bid to make officers more aware of InfoSec and facilitate sharing of related knowledge among NTS officers.

After the appointment ceremony, Superintendent Lai Chi-leung from the Security and Support Division of Business Services Bureau and his team gave a briefing on the updated policy on InfoSec, latest trend of information security incidents, case study for sharing, and the Force's new initiatives on InfoSec.

Before closing of the event, the Chairman of the Regional Monitoring Group, Tsuen Wan Deputy District Commander Ko Kim-fung, reiterated that the Force and NTS are committed to providing full support for the ambassadors.
