The second session of Police College's "Beyond Boundaries Learning" series took place at Police Headquarters on August 1 with Senior Immigration Officer, Mr Ng Cheuk-yiu, and Immigration Officer, Mr Yung Wai-kwok, as speakers.

Mr Ng introduced to over 50 officers the structure and duties of the different units of his department and joint operations with the Force, while Mr Yung talked about his experience concerning illegal immigrants, over-stayers and illegal workers.

The session concluded with a discussion between the speakers and the officers on operational issues of mutual concerns and inter-operatability.

The "Beyond Boundaries Learning" series, initiated by the Research Centre under the Specialised Services Training Centre of Police College, invites speakers from other law enforcement agencies, particularly those having a direct interface with policing, to share their law enforcement experiences with Force members.

The sharing session offers Force members a platform to learn and improve beyond policing context and helps them broaden their horizons and strengthen inter-departmental co-operation.
