The Deputy Director of the Criminal Investigation Department (CID) of Singapore Police Force (SPF), Assistant Commissioner Sekher Warrier, visited the Force between May 26 and 29, accompanied by the Head of Organized Crime Branch, Mr Eugene Wang, and the Head of the Financial Investigation Branch of CID, Ms Celine Kwek. 

 

During the visit, Mr Warrier paid a courtesy call on Director of Crime and Security (D C&S) Lo Mung-hung. They reviewed the strategic partnership and long-standing co-operation between the Force and SPF in combating cross-jurisdictional crimes, especially those among the Crime Bureaux of the Force and the CID of SPF. Both agreed to further reinforce the collaboration among the crime units of both forces, and capacity building and training for crime officers.

 

The delegation also visited Commercial Crime Bureau, Criminal Intelligence Bureau, Cyber Security and Technology Crime Bureau, Narcotics Bureau as well as Organized Crime and Triad Bureau to exchange good practices and experiences in combating crimes.
