A Shatin District Councillor, Mr Yau Man-chun, and Chairman of Shatin Jat Min Chuen Mutual Aid Committee, Mr Chung Wai-chiu, as well as his committee members called at Tin Sum Police Station on July 6 and presented tapestry banners to Shatin District (STDIST) Commander Lam Man-sai, and Acting Tin Sum Divisional Commander Chow Kwok-kee for officers' efforts to bust cases of criminal damage and indecent assault in Tin Sum Division.

On the same occasion, the manager of an international chain fast food branch also presented certificates of appreciation to officers of STDIST for detecting two cases of robbery and theft that had occurred in his restaurant.

Taking the opportunity to meet different stakeholders of the community, the officers further enhanced police-public relations in the interests of community policing and the fight against crime.
