The Police Recruitment Day (Summer) 2015 took place at Police Headquarters on July 25, attracting more than 2 100 applications.


Assisted by over 100 volunteers from the regular and auxiliary police forces, the applicants completed the initial screening for height and weight measurements as well as eyesight test, academic qualification check, scheduling of written examinations for Probationary Inspector (PI) applicants and physical fitness test for Auxiliary Police applicants as well as group interviews for Recruit Police Constable (RPC) applicants within a half day. Officers from the Auxiliary Police Headquarters also offered seminars for applicants to learn more about the Auxiliary Police Force, getting a good response

Director of Personnel and Training Au Chi-kwong was on hand to show support to the staff and volunteers.


The recruitment target for the 2015/16 financial year is 190 PIs, 1 320 RPCs and 320 PCs (Auxiliary). To attract high-calibre candidates to join the Force, Recruitment Division will continue to organise more recruitment activities, including another Recruitment Day by the end of this year.
