The District Investigation Team (DIT) 3 of Kwun Tong District (KTDIST) has won the Best DIT Award of Kowloon East (KE) Region, followed by DIT 8 Sau Mau Ping District and DIT 7 Wong Tai Sin District as first and second runners-up respectively.

KE Regional Commander Duncan McCosh presented a certificate to each member of the winning team on July 28 to formally recognize the team's contributions and exemplary performances.

KE Region has run the Best DIT Award for the fourth year to recognize the efforts, professional ability and devotion to duty of frontline detectives, adopting comprehensive selection criteria with focus on quality of investigations and detective capability. Each District in KE Region nominates its best team for submission to a selection panel chaired by KE Deputy Regional Commander, comprising members of District management.
