The Police Civilian Staff Club (PCSC) held its 2015 Annual General Meeting (AGM) cum Annual Dinner on June 26. Among the 210 participants were Acting Director of Finance, Administration and Planning/Financial Controller Tau Chung-hong, Police Civil Secretary Leung Ho-yin, Chief Executive Officer (Personnel and General Division) Fong Tin-chuen and representatives from Association of Police Translators, HKPF Telecommunications Technical Staff Union, Hong Kong Traffic Wardens Union and HKSARG Traffic Wardens General Union.


PCSC has been actively encouraging civilian officers to take part in volunteer services. The PCSC Volunteer Team, which had 358 members at the end of last year, chalked up a total of 10 984 hours of volunteer services and 47 of its team members have been awarded Volunteer Service Certificates by Social Welfare Department in 2014. At the annual dinner, Mr Tau and Mr Leung presented prizes and the certificates to the awarded Volunteer Team members.


The 2015-16 General Committee of PCSC was elected at the AGM, comprising 25 members, besides the Chairperson and Vice-Chairperson.


PCSC was set up in 1968 for strengthening the communication among civilian officers and enhancing the co-operation between civilian staff and other officers in the Force. It now has a membership close to 6 300.
