The Police Community Relations Office of Central District (CDIST) and Peak Sub-Division hosted a burglary prevention seminar for Owners' Corporation, property management companies and their security personnel in a bid to make residents and property management personnel more conscious of burglary prevention.

CDIST Commander Lam Chun-ming and Peak Sub-Divisional Commander Chan Shuk-ping updated the participants on crime information, including the trend and modus operandi of burglary, while security system companies introduced anti-burglary equipment. The police also called on building management offices and residents to take precautionary measures to make homes safe at all time and forge a neighbourhood partnership.

After the seminar, officers joined members of Central & Western District Fight Crime Committee, Junior Police Call and Senior Police Call in distributing anti-quick cash crime and anti-taxi malpractice leaflets and souvenirs to tourists and locals at the Peak Road Garden.
