Tuen Mun District (TMDIST) held a "Youth Anti-drug Workshop" in an organic farm in Sha Tau Kok on July 4 in a bid to steer youngsters clear of crimes and drugs.

TMDIST Police Community Relations Office and six secondary schools in Tuen Mun, with local and Non-ethnic Chinese students, participated in the workshop, where police volunteer workers impressed on over 200 Forms 1 to 3 students the benefits of a drug-free life. They also advised the students on how to seek help if they got involved in drugs.

The contents of the workshop included anti-drug talks, case studies and work sharing by the police volunteers, giving the students a better idea of the risk of drug abuse. In addition, there were small group activities for the students to learn how to work as a team and guard against the temptation of drugs.
