On the evening of July 2, in London, local and expatriate officers, who were members of Probationary Inspector (PI) Intake 211-213, celebrated the 34th anniversary of their arrival at the former Police Training School in August 1981.

The 10 officers who were able to attend are Mark Styles, Jim Prisk, Steve Chambers, Chris Merchant, Steve Hyams, Simon Taylor, Louisa Cheuk Siu-lan, Angela Chiu On-kee, Martin Chan Chi-seung and Eddie Leung Wai-shing. They gathered together for a very lively evening, reminiscing about their time in the Force. The gathering was held in a pub, followed by dinner at a Chinese restaurant.
