An International Ship and Port Facility Security (ISPS) Code exercise took place at a wharf in Tolo Harbour on December 3, with officers from Marine North Division, Small Boat Division and Counter Terrorism Response Unit dealing with a simulated hostage-taking incident involving armed men.

The exercise is one of many the Force participates in to test and fine-tune its operating procedures and contingency plans for incidents at ISPS facilities. It has strengthened the liaison between the Force and operators of the facilities.
