Western District (WDIST) won the title of "Champion of the Champions" in the final match of the 2015/16 Inter-Formation Football League against Tsuen Wan District on April 14, bringing the league to a close.

Both teams had a wonderful match on that day. Following a 3-3 draw during the match, WDIST eventually won on a penalty shootout.

The Football League featured 210 matches with the participation of 40 formation teams and over 1 000 regular and auxiliary officers, as well as civilian staff.

The guest of honour, the Vice-Chairman of the Police Sports Council, Mr Cheuk Hau-yip, praised participants for their team spirit and sportsmanship. He encouraged officers to rise to the challenge and be united in serving the community and maintaining law and order.
