To attract high-calibre candidates in the Non-ethnic Chinese (NEC) community to join the Force, the Recruitment Division visited the Pakistan Club for the first time during their "meena bazaar" (carnival) on April 17. Besides setting up a recruitment booth, a recruitment talk was held with tailor-made messages to the NEC community.

At the recruitment talk, the participants were briefed on the entry requirements, recruitment process, selection criteria, basic training and welfare of various Police grades. Being one of the outstanding NEC serving in the Force, Police Constable Adnan Khan shared his experience with his fellows. The visit not only aroused the interest of potential NEC candidates to join the Force, but also strengthened the bonding between the Force and the NEC community.
