On May 26, about 40 frontline officers of Western District (WDIST) took part in a sharing session on "Handling Cases of Cruelty to Animal", during which the Peer Advisors as well as Volunteer Inspectors from the Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals shared their experience in handling animal cruelty cases.

The messages of animal care and welfare were disseminated. The participants found the sharing session useful for their day-to-day duties in handling this kind of cases. The event is part of a series of knowledge management sharing sessions on Western WIKI launched by WDIST this year to strengthen the professional competence of WDIST officers.
