The Shamshuipo District Fight Crime Committee commended Sham Shui Po District (SSPODIST) Commander Hui Chun-tak, Deputy District Commander Mak Lau Wai-mun and officers of District Crime Squads (DCS) for the prompt detection of two cases of public concern. The committee presented tapestry banners to the officers on May 31 as a token of appreciation for their professionalism, perseverance and devotion to work.

The officers had swiftly detected an assault case and an indecent assault case in March and May respectively. DCS officers shared with the committee members the challenges they encountered in the course of investigation. This enabled the committee to understand the importance of co-operation between the public and the Force.
