The Chairman of Hong Kong and Kowloon Motor Boats and Tug Boats Association, Mr Wen Tsz-kit, and representatives of the marine industry commended the Marine Port District (MPDIST) for assisting in hauling the 76-metre Jumbo Floating Restaurant to and out of the Aberdeen Typhoon Shelter for repair works on April 18 and 23 respectively.


Receiving the appreciation certificates on June 15 were MPDIST Commander Richard Sheridan, Divisional Commander of Marine South Division (MSDIV) Law Ka-hong, MPDIST Police Community Relations Officer Law Tung-wah, MSDIV Task Force Sub-unit Commander Yung Kam-lun as well as officers of Police Community Relations Office and MSDIV.
