Chief Executive Mr C Y Leung met 22 fight crime ambassadors at the Government House on August 11 to wish them a fruitful and joyful trip to the Netherlands. He encouraged them to grasp the opportunity to broaden their horizons and exchange views with Dutch youngsters on crime fighting and prevention.

The ambassadors, who were winners of the "Hang Seng Bank - Help the Police Fight Youth Crime Competition 2016", departed for the Netherlands on August 22 to visit police departments and youth organisations in the country during their eight-day journey.

Mr Leung commended the ambassadors for their excellent performance and leadership skills in the competition. He appealed to the ambassadors to continue fighting against youth crime and disseminating the messages of combating drugs, cyber crime and quick cash crime.

Earlier that day, Commissioner Lo Wai-chung joined the ambassadors for lunch before leading them to meet the Chief Executive. The ambassadors shared with Mr Lo the experience gained in the competition.

The biennial competition was organised by the Force with sponsorship from Hang Seng Bank. Under the theme of "Fight Crime Together for a Better Tomorrow" this year, the competition comprised three phases of online fight crime games, micro-movie production and interviews.
