The Complaints Against Police Office (CAPO) rolled out a Video Dubbing Competition of Project LIGHTHOUSE II with a view to enhancing the professionalism of frontline officers in handling confrontational situations.

Three short videos have been produced impersonating confrontational scenarios between officers and members of the public. Officers are welcome to resolve the situations by dubbing effective dialogues to the videos to show their professionalism, tact and composedness.

Interested officers may enter the competition as an individual or in a group, and choose one or more than one video and dub the officers therein with new dialogues. Participants are required to submit their entries in compact discs together with the scripts of dialogues by dispatch to Chief Inspector (CIP) of CAPO New Territories Team 4 by November 15. For details, please visit the CAPO website on POINT, or contact CIP Fong Shuk-yi or Senior Inspector Fung Kwok-ching of CAPO at 2860-1930 and 2860-2185 respectively.

To equip officers with technical skills in dubbing, CAPO will hold a video dubbing production workshop on October 7. Those who want to join the workshop may sign up by emailing to ip-sip-nt4b-capo-nt@police.gov.hk by September 30.
