To convey fight crime messages and promote racial harmony, Tuen Mun District (TMDIST), Tuen Mun District Fight Crime Committee (TMDFCC) and the Lingnan University co-organised the Tuen Mun Fight Crime Street Run Programme during the summer holiday. The eight-session programme was designed by veteran coaches to help the Chinese and Non-ethnic Chinese students to build up the attitudes of "Never Give Up" and "I Can Do It" through running drills.

At one of the training sessions on August 23, TMDIST Deputy Commander Ko Kim-fung, the coaches and police volunteers jointly led about 40 participants to take part in a three-kilometre run, back and forth from Tang Shiu Kin Sports Ground to Tuen Mun Police Station. Police Community Relations Officer of TMDIST Choi Sau-kuen and members of TMDFCC cheered on the runners on the way.
