The Australian Federal Police (AFP) Deputy Commissioner for National Security, Mr Michael Phelan, paid a courtesy call on Commissioner Lo Wai-chung in Hong Kong on November 3.

Mr Phelan and Mr Lo discussed at the meeting a wide range of policing matters, including counter-terrorism strategies as well as cross-jurisdictional investigation into and intelligence sharing of drug trafficking offences. Both sides agreed to enhance co-operation in combating drug-related crimes and terrorist acts, as well as stepping up collaboration in training.
