Commissioner Lo Wai-chung appointed Assistant Commissioner (AC) Lau Chi-wai as the new Chairperson of the Police Arts Council (PAC) on February 16 after the end of tenure of the former Chairman, retiree Lam Man-wing.

During Mr Lam's three-year tenure, the activities of the police arts clubs saw a rapid development in terms of quantity, quality and popularity. This fitted in with the Force's Integrated Approach to Physical Fitness and Health Management.

Ms Lau served as the Vice-chairperson of the PAC from March 2011 to February 2014.
