The Crime Wing Headquarters arranged a delegation of officers from various District Investigation Teams (DITs) to visit the Singapore Police Force (SPF) from August 28 to 31. The delegation, led by Chief Inspector Cheang Mei-yiu of Airport District, comprised of two Inspectors, two Sergeants and 10 Police Constables.

The delegates called on the Research, Planning and Organisational Development Division at the Police Cantonment Complex in Singapore to learn about the structure of the SPF and the local crime trend. They then visited several crime units, including the Unlawful Money Lending Investigation Branch, Secret Society Investigation Branch and Specialised Crime Investigation Branch, to get to know their crime-fighting strategies. The delegates exchanged views with SPF frontline crime officers on their work challenges during a visit to one of the Land Divisions. The delegation also visited the INTERPOL Global Complex for Innovation to better understand their role in combating international crimes.

The programme offered the DIT officers an insight of the detective units in Singapore and the INTERPOL as well as a chance to foster communication with their overseas counterparts, through which the officers' professionalism have been enhanced.
