The Police College arranged Chief Inspector Wong Siu-shan to attend the 43rd International Senior Police Officers' Command Course organised by the Royal Malaysia Police College in Kuala Lumpur from August 7 to 26.

With the participation of 41 senior police officers from 26 countries and regions of Asia, Africa and Eastern Europe, the course aimed to establish multi-lateral co-operation, enhance leadership skills of the participants and raise their awareness of global policing issues through lectures, workshops and study tours. All participants were required to submit a report on a designated topic relating to the best policing practices of their respective jurisdiction.

The course had strengthend Mr Wong's management and leadership capabilities, and offered an opportunity for the Force to establish working partnership with overseas counterparts.
