Director of Personnel and Training Li Kin-fai visited Sergeant (SGT) Tam Kwok-lun, who was injured at work, at the Ruttonjee Hospital on July 27 to convey care to him and his family. Chief Superintendent (CSP) of the Personnel Services and Staff Relations (PS&SR) Branch Lau Fung-ha and Western District Commander - former Deputy Commander of Central District - Chan Yee-lai also went to the hospital on August 31 to send their warm regards to Mr Tam and his family.


Mr Tam's father has written a thank you card to express his gratitude to all Force members for their continuous concern and support. His son collapsed whilst on duty during Operation SOLARPEAK in December 2014, and was admitted to hospital since then and his health condition remains stable.


Meanwhile, Mr Li also expressed concern to Senior Police Constable (SPC) Chu Chun-kwok, who was hurt whilst on duty in 2005, and his family at Wong Tai Sin Hospital on August 7. Regional Commander of Kowloon West Cheuk Hau-yip, Sham Shui Po District Commander Cho Ming-lung, Acting CSP of the PS&SR Branch Wong Yiu-ming and Senior Force Welfare Officer To Ming-yin also visited Mr Chu on September 13 to show solicitude to him and his family.


Mr Chu is under treatment in hospital and his health condition remains stable.
