Assistant Commissioner Cheung Ching and Superintendent Lee Cho-ming attended the "Graduate Diploma of Executive Leadership" programme as a Visiting Fellow (VF) and a participant respectively at the Australian Institute of Police Management (AIPM) in Manly, Australia, from October 7 to 19.

Ms Cheung and three other VFs, Assistant Commissioners of the Western Australia Police Force, New South Wales Police Force and Queensland Fire and Emergency Services, facilitated the learning process of the participants and assessed their performance in classroom.

Twenty-eight officers from the police forces and fire brigades in Australia, the Netherlands and Hong Kong participated in the programme. The participants took part in a range of learning activities, including public policy formulation, case analysis, group projects and workshops. Under the coaching of the VFs, the participants completed a number of individual and group assignments. Furthermore, they met with nine commissioners of police forces as well as fire and emergency services of various Australian states to gain insights into their leadership and management skills.

Before attending the AIPM programme, Mr Lee was on attachment to the Western Australia Police Force from October 1 to 6. During the attachment, he visited the Metropolitan Police Station in Perth, the Incident Command Centre of Western Australia as well as the Police Community Engagement Division and the Licensing Enforcement Division of Western Australia Police Force.
