Some officers of JPC@Pat Heung, a youth training campsite, of Police Public Relations Branch joined hands with the Airport Security Unit (ASU) to take part in the Crate Climbing Challenge 2018 held by the Hong Kong Playground Association on October 17. They won the champion in the Disciplined Force Competition of the event, and were presented with a trophy by Chief Executive Mrs Carrie Lam.

In the Open Group Competition, the JPC@Pat Heung team and the ASU team separately pitted against other contestants. Eventually, the ASU team claimed the champion title while the JPC@Pat Heung team secured the first runner-up title.

Crate climbing, also known as crate stacking, is a sport that originated in Europe and has become popular in Hong Kong since last year. Players have to stack empty beverage crates as high as possible and as speedy as they can. In recent months, the JPC@Pat Heung campsite has introduced this sport to train youth participants' team spirit, thinking and communication skills and stamina.
