Chief Executive (CE) Mrs Carrie Lam presented honours and awards to 265 recipients at the 2018 Honours and Awards Presentation Ceremony at the Government House on October 27. Twenty-eight serving and retired members of the Force have been recognised in the 2018 Honours List, which was announced on July 1.
Heading the list of the Force recipients was former Deputy Commissioner Chau Kwok-leung who was presented with the Silver Bauhinia Star. Senior Assistant Commissioners Tang Ping-keung and Kwok Yam-shu, and former Assistant Commissioners Chung Siu-yeung, Lui Hon-kwok and Hui Chun-tak were awarded the Police Medal for Distinguished Service. On the other hand, Assistant Commissioner Mak Chin-ho and 21 other officers received the Police Medal for Meritorious Service.
