Representatives of a retail group visited the New Territories North (NTN) Regional Headquarters on April 14 to present pennants to Senior Superintendent (Crime NTN) Chan Tin-chu, Chief Inspector of Regional Crime Unit Team 1 Kwan Chun-hin, Chief Inspector of Regional Intelligence Unit Ho Shun-wing and Chief Inspector of Regional Crime Prevention Office Law Suk-man, in appreciation of their efficiency and professionalism in detecting a series of robbery cases in convenience stores. After the presentation ceremony, Mr Chan led the officers of Crime NTN to exchange views and experience with the guests with a view to fostering partnership with them.

In February 2020, a number of convenience store robberies occurred in the NTN Region. Upon thorough investigation by Crime NTN, the cases were swiftly detected with four males arrested by the end of February.
