Director of INTERPOL Capacity Building and Training Directorate Mr Glenn Martindale visited Hong Kong Police College (HKPC) on May 30. He discussed with Director of HKPC Chan Yee-lai on a series of policies and strategies to strengthen the efficacy of mutual cooperation and enhance the training quality.


Director of HKPC outlined the overview of HKPC and introduced the utilisation of IT in police training. Mr Martindale briefed on the work of INTERPOL Capacity Building and Training Directorate and its latest initiatives, such as the INTERPOL Global Academy Network. Both parties agreed to strengthen mutual cooperation in police training for enhancing the professional capabilities of Hong Kong and overseas police officers. HKPC will keep supporting the development of INTERPOL via active participation in major events and sharing experience and good practice in IT application for police training.
