Operations of New Territories South (OPS NTS) held workshops in the Districts within the Region between April and May to share skills for handling cases involving missing persons at risk and suspicious vehicles. In the workshops, Senior Superintendent of OPS NTS Chan Siu-ming reviewed the relevant tactical guidelines on handling suspicious vehicles. Officers were also invited to share their experience in handling suspicious vehicles for improving the efficacy of frontline law enforcement and the officers’ safety awareness. Moreover, officers of Regional Missing Person Unit of NTS shared their techniques and experience in handling cases of missing persons at risk, as well as introducing Project L-Homecoming to frontline officers for better results in searching missing persons.


Furthermore, Chan Siu-ming took the opportunity to have in-depth communication with frontline officers at various levels to disseminate the latest strategic directions and understand their needs. NTS would keep strengthening communication and cooperation with frontline officers to enhance their professional capabilities continuously.
