The Emergency Unit (EU) of New Territories South (NTS), together with Police Tactical Unit A Company, Regional Crime Prevention Office and Tsuen Wan District, conducted an exercise codenamed EHCOSTRING at a shopping arcade in Tsuen Wan on July 29 to demonstrate how the Force dealt with armed personnel inside a crowded shopping arcade and to showcase EU’s daily equipment. Around 100 attendees, including representatives from property management agencies in the district, security service providers, officers from Tsuen Wan District Office, Tsuen Wan District Council members, members of District Fight Crime Committee (Tsuen Wan) and mentees of Police Mentorship Programme, were invited to observe the exercise.

Officers of EU NTS also communicated with the personnel from the security and property management to share how they could cooperate and coordinate with the police at the scene of an accident to improve operational efficiency and reduce casualties.
