Officers of Yau Tsim District (YTDIST) attended the celebration of the Independence Day of India held by the India Association Hong Kong (IAHK) on August 15 and were presented with Excellence Award 2023. District Commander of YTDIST Ngai Chi-shung and officers of the Police Community Relations Office of YTDIST were invited to join the event.

District Investigation Team 10 and District Intelligence Section of YTDIST were presented the Excellence Award 2023 in recognition of the professionalism they displayed when dealing with a case of robbery this year. The President of IAHK Mr Vishal Melwani thanked the Force, the awarded teams and representatives for their dedication and contribution to community safety.

Through awarding different disciplined services, teams and members of the community, IAHK hopes to commend these departments and individuals for their devotion to serving and benefiting the community.

YTDIST officers are commended by India Association for their professionalism displayed while discharging their duty.
