The Police Boxing Club (PBC) held its beginner boxer course between July 26 and September 20, attracting 30 officers of different ranks from various Formations. All coaches are serving officers who had achieved excellent results in competitions at various levels, including veteran boxers Senior Inspector Tsang Yiu-ying and Police Constable Ng Ka-ho. A sparring session with young boxers from Operation Breakthrough was also held on September 20 for the trainees to practice the new boxing skills they had acquired.

Chairman of PBC Nigel Williams said that the outstanding achievements of PBC boxers at the World Police and Fire Games proved that the boxing courses were highly successful.
