Vice President of the Police Association of China (PAC) Mr Zhu Changjie and Secretary General Mr Zong Sheng-li led a 14-person delegation comprising secretaries general of police associations from various provinces, cities and autonomous regions for study tour in Hong Kong between November 13 and 17.

It was PAC’s first delegation of study tour to Hong Kong. The main themes of the study tour were Police Public Relations Work and Frontline Police Duties. Arranged by the Police College, the delegation visited various units and formations of the Force to understand the Force’s work in large-scale event planning, risk assessment and manpower deployment.

Moreover, Mr Zhu paid a courtesy visit to Commissioner Siu Chak-yee and discussed the preparation for the 19th Symposium on Police Studies of the Strait cum Hong Kong and Macao scheduled to be held in Hong Kong next year. Mr Zhu expressed heartfelt gratitude to the Force for its long-term support to PAC and looked forward to the successful outcome of the Symposium next year.

The delegation visits the Junior Police Call Permanent Acitivity Centre and Integrated Youth Training Camp at Pat Heung to gain a deeper understanding of police-public relations strategies.
