 RC Marine Foo Tsun-kong with IP Hibell and SSGT Li |
Marine Regional Commander Foo Tsun-kong presented Commanding Officer's Commendations to Inspector D. Hibell and Station Sergeant Li Chi-shing of the Small Boat Division's Anti-Smuggling Task Force on December 22.
The plaudits were for their excellent performance in a series of seaborne anti-smuggling operations between May and September last year which resulted in the interception of 15 high-speed vessels, the arrest of 46 smugglers and the seizure of vehicles and other goods and vessels worth about $16 million.
Mr Foo also complimented 18 other officers from the Division for their good work in the operations.
