Another run lands $15,000

Giving it all for charity - NTN EU

New Territories North Emergency Unit officers raised almost $15,000 for visually impaired children on December 21 with the 12-hour Dawn to Dusk Run.

The event kicked-off at 7 am, seeing a volunteer from each platoon and one from EU NTN Headquarters form a five-man relay team to run between NTN HQ and Tolo harbour and back. Each participant ran six laps during the 12 hours covering some 30 kilometres.

The teams were assisted by EU NTN officers running alongside them either prior to or immediately after their shift duties, including night shift. Donations were made by NTN HQ personnel and EU NTN platoons along with a "whip 'round" at the NTN HQ Officers Mess Christmas Lunch. A total of $14,562 was raised.
