Community leaders thank Barry Griffin and his Western District crew |
Western District Commander Barry Griffin and W DIST Task Force officers received silver plates from the Mount Davis Kaifong Welfare Association and other community leaders October 24 for their outstanding performance in handling a number of cases.
Task Force Police Constable Shum Kim-kiu's alertness thwarted two burglaries on July 17 and 19, and saw all stolen property recovered. Officers also stopped a robbery attempt on a Belcher's Street goldsmith shop on October 19, arrested three suspects and recovered the loot.
