Officers' accolades

Commissioner Eddie Hui Ki-on presented Police Long Service Claps to six senior officers at Police Headquarters on December 8.

Director of Crime and Security Louis Lau Chun-sing, Assistant Commissioner (Training) Yip Kwok-keung, ACP (Security) Yuen Ying-lam and ACP (Service Quality) Harry Blud were presented Third Clasps while ACP (Operations) Cheung Chi-shum was awarded Second Clasp.

Auxiliary Police Commandant Peter Chau Cham-chiu was presented the Auxiliary Police Long Service First Clasp.

Commissioner Hui also presented Valedictory Letters, Certificates of Exemplary Service and retirement souvenirs to 20 officers including Woman Senior Superintendent Cheung Mei-ming.

Meanwhile, Mr Hui handed a Commissioner's Commendation to Marine Port District Sergeant To Kam-wing at Marine Headquarters on December 4 for his outstanding performance in handling a riot at the Hei Ling Chau Addiction Treatment Centre on June 4. And many miles away, Philip Sham Wai-kin who is on secondment to National Directorate of Police Training Bramshill in the United Kingdom, was presented a letter promoting him to Senior Superintendent by Assistant Director Professional Development Greg Wilkinson on July 7.
