Ying-yi Kuen International Invitation Games

Police Chinese Wushu Club committee member SGT Tsang Hon-kit, aged 48, started practising Chinese martial arts when he was 16. His particular interest is in practising Ying-yi kuen - a simplistic form of Chinese martial arts with strong emphasises on both body and mind and overall improvement of skills - holistic approach.

Representing the Police Chinese Wushu Club, he recently attended the First Ying-yi Kuen International Invitation Games, held in Shanxi Province, where he won one silver medal playing the Five-Element Kuen, as well as a bronze medal by the Ying-yi rod.

More than two thousand competitors from overseas and various parts of China attended the games. Mr Tsang accredited his success to the guidance of masters in both Hong Kong and on the Mainland and the support of the Police Wushu Club.
