A group of former Force members have agreed to meet each year at the top of Ben Nevis, the highest mountain in the United Kingdom.

This year the target date was 2 pm on August 18, and five former inspectors met, albeit by accident, at the peak between 1.15 pm and 2.05 pm. The fearless five were Alex Threadgill, Steve Kay, Cleland Rogers, Spike Kitson and Andy Burns.

Next year's meeting is scheduled for Saturday August 17 at 2 pm, so please mark your diaries as this is sure to be the largest gathering of ex-RHKP officers seen for many years.
