Officers of Crime Kowloon West Headquarters arrested four members of a suspected credit card fraud synidcate active in Hong Kong and Shenzhen back in June.

They had allegedly applied for credit cards in Hong Kong by using other people's personal particulars and then used the credit cards to withdraw cash and purchase goods, mainly in Shenzhen, amounting to HK$1.54 million in the first half of this year.

The Association of Credit Card Security presented a plaque to the KW crime officers, in appreciation of their efforts in investigating this case, at the Kowloon West Regional Headquarters on August 23.
