Youngsters' rock-climbing challenge

The Kowloon West Regional Crime Prevention Office organised a Youth-Care Challenge Camp in Sai Kung between August 5 and 7.

About 120 youngsters joined the camp where they learned raft-building, rock-climbing, rope crossing and other games. They also attended two seminars on the fight against youth crime and drugs.

The camp, sponsored by the non-profit making community organisation Kowloon West Youth-Care Committee, aims at providing healthy activities for youths at risk to help instill self-confidence, team spirit and discipline in order to steer them away from crime and drugs.
