Mainland and overseas summer course sponsorship scheme 2002

The Mainland and Overseas Summer Course Sponsorship Scheme, designed to provide children of JPOs and IPs or SIPs an opportunity to gain more exposure to different cultures, broaden their horizon and improve their confidence and communication skills, is now open for application.

A provision of $275,000 has been made by the Police Welfare Fund to meet the cost of this year's scheme. A total of 55 places are available for application.

The sponsorship is open to children, aged between 12 and 21, who have not previously been sponsored by the Police Welfare Fund for attending summer courses.
