Promoted to the rank of Chief Superintendent was Mr Peter Hunt, and to Senior Superintendent were Mr Howard Rees, Mr John Boothby, Mr Ma Siu-yip, Mr Eddie Leung Ka-ming, Mr Steve Carruthers and Mr Alan Man Chi-hung.

Commissioner Tsang Yam-pui has promoted seven of his senior officers at a presentation ceremony held at the Police Headquarters on April 30. Promoted to the rank of Chief Superintendent was Mr Peter Hunt, and to Senior Superintendent were Mr Howard Rees, Mr John Boothby, Mr Ma Siu-yip, Mr Eddie Leung Ka-ming, Mr Steve Carruthers and Mr Alan Man Chi-hung.
