  • In response to an article published in an English-language newspaper on April 26, a letter was sent to the paper on the same day clarifying that Police did not bar the Falun Gong from holding a protest recently.

  • A letter was sent to a Chinese-language newspaper on April 27 denying a report that Police had shirked its responsibilities in dealing with a criminal damage case in a North Point carpark.

  • A letter was sent to two Chinese-language newspapers on April 28 denying that CP's stance on the "handcuffed incident" at Chater Garden had softened after a meeting with the four journalist association representatives.

  • In response to an article on the Chater Garden incident, published in a Chinese-language newspaper on April 29, a letter was sent to the paper on the same day maintaining that Police would continue to facilitate the media as far as possible in the coverage of incidents.

  • In response to stories in two Chinese-language newspapers, letters were sent to them on May 3 clarifying that CP had never made any remarks regarding "pay cut will not affect staff morale" throughout an earlier interview in an RTHK radio programme.

  • A letter was sent to a Chinese-language newspaper on May 3 to respond to its letter sent to CP on April 30 and a related article published on May 2, regarding the handcuffing of reporters at Chater Garden.
