More than 30 Junior Police Call members last month took part in a fight crime slogan-cum-Yo-Yo competition organised by the Kwai Tsing Police Community Relations Office.

The judges of the contest comprised the President of Hong Kong Yo-Yo Fan Club, Mr Wong Chun-wai; the Honorary President of Kwai Tsing Junior Police Call, Mr Lau Kin-ko, and the Kwai Tsing Police Community Relations Officer , Mr Wu Shu-wing.

Apart from displaying excellent and innovative skills with their yo-yos, the contestants also wrote and submitted outstanding fight crime slogans.

As a result, 10-year-old Law Ka-wai clinched the title with his outstanding performance and meaningful slogan - "fighting crime, you and me can do it".

The highlight of the event was a professional display of yo-yo skills by the Club President, Mr Wong Chun-wai, and a Club member, Mr Hon Chun-kit.

"We believe the competition will in a way assist in fighting crime by enthusiastic participation of youths in such fight crime activities," Mr Wu told OffBeat.
