The exhibition focused on the common tricks employed by swindlers, and displayed some imitation gold ornaments and fake herbs to arouse the public's awareness of such ploys.

Earlier, officers of Sham Shui Po District also launched an anti-deception drive in the district. UB Officers of Shek Kip Mei Division, and officers of Crime Prevention Unit and Police Community Relations Office of Sham Shui Po District, joined by Sham Shui Po District Council Chairman, Mr Tam Kwok-kiu, distributed leaflets on crime prevention messages to local residents to further remind them of the modus operandi of recent swindle cases in streets.
