Display of the Mace
The annual 'Display of the Mace Ceremony' was held recently in memory of the late Sir Shiu Kin Tang and to pay tribute to him and his family for their continuous contributions to Police staff welfare.
The Mace has been used by the Police Bagpipe Band since 1987 in all official ceremonies at which they performed. It was originally donated by Sir Shiu Kin himself.
Commissioner Mr Tsang Yam-pui officiated at the Ceremony and personally welcomed the VIP guests: Sir Shiu Kin's widow, Lady May, son Richard and daughter Yvonne.
